Imane Hamdi – a jump for joy with faith, gratitude, and love in Boston

Imane Hamdi photographed by Eyoälha Baker for Jump for Joy Photo Project

When you meet Imane, you are immediately impacted by her joyful energy and infectious smile. I had the joy of meeting Imane while I was contributing to an event called Explora Labs with my dear friend and creative genius, Mary-Anne Richman. Imane was part of the Chef’s crew who prepared the most incredible food (I’m telling you, we could literally taste the love in the food!). And, making food is not even her main passion in life, she’s a Skin Chef Artisan and Cosmetic Chemist too!

When Imane came out to jump, her joyful energy instantly uplifted me and we got this awesome jump after just one click, pure joy.

Get to know a little bit about Imane:

Q: What inspires you to jump for joy?
Faith, gratitude, and love

Q: How was your experience doing the jumping photos?
I was very excited before and literally felt euphoric after.

Q: How do you describe the feeling of joy?
I called it la Joie de Vivre and it is my Mantra. I grow up in a happy environment and I learned at a very young age that being in a joyful state make things easier when life challenges us. My Smile is my Signature 😉

Q: What is your greatest passion in life?
Creating natural concoctions for the skin and the soul. My Goal is to promote Self Love and Self Care in nowadays world where we do most of the things most of the time for others and not for ourselves.

Q: How do you cultivate joy in your life?
Laugh, Music and learn and share great ideas from books and personal experience.

Q: In what way are you trying to make the world a better place?
I am promoting a healthier skincare ritual good for the body, better for your soul and Z best for our mother earth. Let’s join forces and promote Joy, Self-love, and self-care.

Q: What are you working on or creating?
Working on a youtube channel called Erazan Talk to expose the harmful chemicals in the conventional skincare and cosmetics. My job is to share the information as a Cosmetic Chemist with the world because most of the people don’t know what they’re spreading on their largest organ. It drives me crazy when I see ingredients on products that we can’t even pronounce, studies have proven their toxic effects and yet mainstream claim it’s safe and we can even find some of them on the food labels.

Q: Mini bio or something special you want to share.
Skin Chef Artisan, through my Moroccan heritage and my French influence I celebrate Self Love and Self Care culture. I believe the human race is a superior race for a reason, we are wired to love ourselves and love each other. Let s change the social and environmental conditioning and make this community healthier stronger and happier together.

Thank you Imane for shining so bright and for sharing your power joy with us!
