Radha Mehta because of HATCH San Francisco 2018

Get to know a little about Radha:
Q: What inspires you to jump for joy?
A:
I don’t jump for joy physically, but in my heart and mind I do so all the time! My son inspires me… he is filled with immense joy himself, so it’s contagious.

Q: How was your experience doing the jumping photos?
A:
The experience was fun more because I got to experience it with an incredible group of humans. As for myself, I don’t like to be photographed in general due to low self-esteem in my physical makeup… but putting the actual “photo” aside, I had so much fun!

Q: How do you describe the feeling of joy?
A:
Joy is a tingling feeling inside largely due to gratitude I feel and the love I’m surrounded with. I was the most joyful when I was pregnant and laughed all the time. I’m not exactly sure why I was so joyful then… perhaps the hormone? Or the fact that I was given the gift to be able to bring another human onto this planet? But I feel a different kind of joy now that my son is born and growing so fast. I feel incredible joy as I see him learn and discover new things. That joy is indescribable and has a positive impact on my life in everything else I do.

Q: What is your greatest passion in life?
A:
My son. He is my purpose in life.

Q: If you could do anything in the world, what would it be?
A:
Make films to share other people’s joys and sorrows through their personal stories.

Q: What are you working on or creating?
A:
Films, music, and paintings.

Q: Mini bio or something special you want to share.
A:
An artist, engineer and more importantly, a lover, and a nurturer.
