Taya Gray jumping in to help share joy with the Girl Scouts

Taya Gray photographed by Eyoalha Baker for Jump for Joy Photo Project and Palm Springs Cultural Center Artist Residency

We had a fabulous day photographing some pretty incredible young girl scouts, who will undoubtedly become powerful women when they grow up, in a garden behind the Demuth Community Center. Taya is one of the awesome moms who were helping out this day and once all the girls had jumped, Taya jumped in to share her joy as well.

Get to know a little more about Taya:
Q: What inspires you to jump for joy?
A:
Being a part of something that my children are a part of inspires me.

Q: How was your experience doing the jumping photos?
A:
I felt good to take part in a community art project.

Q: How do you describe the feeling of joy?
A:
Joy is more important than fleeting happiness. I feel joy even during the difficulties of life.

Q: What is your greatest passion in life?
A:
Besides my family, photography is my passion in life.

Q: How do you feel about being part of a community project that promotes joy?
A:
Terrific. I love the idea!

Q: If you could do anything in the world, what would it be?
A:
I’m doing it. I just want more time.

Q: What are you working on or creating?
A:
Making our house a more beautiful home.

Q: Mini bio or something special you want to share.
A:
I’m proud of our girls in our Girl Scout Troop. They are all so special.

Thank you for jumping in to share your joy Taya!
