When I first arrived in Palm Springs, I met Bella Da Ball at a Disco themed party at the Palm Springs Cultural Center, she is striking and has a vibrant and playful personality. She was the first person I gave a flyer to and asked to jump for joy. So when we received and email from her that she wanted to set up a session, I jumped for joy.
We met up at night to do her jumping photo session, I was concerned about doing the photos at night as my flash is not always reliable, we gave it a go anyway. They turned out quite dark, so I’m super happy that Bella offered to do them again during the daylight as I love her outfit and the vibrancy the sunshine brings to the photo. I don’t usually get to do re-do’s, so I appreciate that Bella took the time to share joy with me twice! And, she looks amazing!

Q: What inspires you to jump for joy?
A: Beautiful weather, beautiful people, good times.
Q: How was your experience doing the jumping photos?
A: Was a fun little gathering. We actually did two — one evening at Ace and one morning after a realtor event.
Q: How do you describe the feeling of joy?
A: Joy is happiness, a smile, warm sunshine, good vibrations.
Q: What is your greatest passion in life?
A: Sharing warmth and good times. Creating happiness and joy. Inspired from my parents who volunteered with many organizations and for many causes while I was growing up.
Q: How do you feel about being part of a community project that promotes joy?
A: Honored and excited.
Q: If you could do anything in the world, what would it be?
A: Oh, so many things… are you sending a blank check? Private plane? Do you have a magic wand to wave over all the problems in the world?
Q: What are you working on or creating?
A: Work/projects include weekly shows: Thursdays at Copa, Mondays at Ace Hotel and special events, staffing, special functions.
