A jump of joy in the lemon trees with Zoe Gray

Zoe Gray photographed by Eyoalha Baker for Jump for Joy Photo Project and Palm Springs Cultural Center Artist Residency

Zoe was one of several strong, intelegent and curious Girl Guides that shared their jumping joy at the Demuth Community Center garden. She knew exactly where she wanted to do her jump – in the lemon trees!

Get to know a little about Zoe:
Q: What inspires you to jump for joy?
A:
Because I’m joyful.

Q: How was your experience doing the jumping photos?
A:
I felt regular before and after. My experience was fun because I might get on public display.

Q: How do you describe the feeling of joy?
A:
I laugh really hard when I think something is really funny.

Q: What is your greatest passion in life?
A:
My passions are playing tennis and watching tennis.

Q: How do you feel about being part of a community project that promotes joy?
A:
I feel excited because I love being joyful.

Q: If you could do anything in the world, what would it be?
A:
I would play Minecraft with my sister for the rest of my life.

Q: What are you working on or creating?
A:
In the future, I hope to make a gigantic Star Wars poster that can fit on a whole wall. Currently, I am working on a gigantic hotel in Minecraft.

Q: Mini bio or something special you want to share.
A:
I am very outgoing and I love to see how powerful, famous tennis players like Roger Federer hit the ball.

Thanks for sharing your beautiful joy with us Zoe!
