We met Ronald aka the Salvation Mountain Man who has taken over the caretaker role at Salvation Mountain since the passing of the artist, Leonard Knight, who created this amazing art wonder. People from all over the world travel out to the desert to take in the incredible experience that is Salvation Mountain, and Ronald makes sure the art is respected and maintained.
Ronald was concerned that we might damage the artwork by doing jumping photos on or in it, so we decided to do his jump beside his trailer (which is right beside the artwork). He loved the concept of creating art that shares joy and from his enthusiasm and his heart open jump, it was clear he is full of joyful energy. If you get the chance to visit this beautiful place, please say hello to the Mountain Man and thank him for his dedication to preserving the legacy of this incredible work.
Thank you Ronald, for being a transmitter of joy for all those who visit Salvation Mountain!
