Go, Go Robolights jump for joy with Paul Belsito

Paul Belsito photographed by Eyoalha baker for Jump for Joy Photo Project and Palm Springs Cultural Center Artist Residency

Paul and his husband Steven (feature coming up) suggested we meet at a place called The Movie Colony outside an astounding yard full of incredible, colourful sculptures called Robolights.

We got straight into jumping around and got this sweet shot of Paul covered in sun flair orbs for the Jump for Joy Photo Project feature. Lots of other good shot as well that will appear on @jumpforjoyphotoproject + @psculturalcenter

Get to know Paul a little more:

Q: What inspires you to jump for joy?
A:
The joy in life itself, being alive & healthy and being married to the man I love.

Q: What was your experience doing the jumping photos?
A:
Before – Thinking this would take a very long time; After – Thinking, WOW that was easy!

Q: How do you describe the feeling of joy?
A:
Joy to me is surrounding yourself with good-hearted “good people”; Joy has impacted my life by inspiring me to create more wonderful things in my world, that I can in turn share with people who hopefully will appreciate them. 🙂

Q: What is your greatest passion in life?
A:
The gift of art; Art in itself is essential for me personally to feel like my life here on Earth has a purpose and meaning. Art is so many things to me; singing, writing; drawing; producing; and the endless world of creating…period.

Q: What does it mean to be part of a community project that promotes joy?
A:
I love living here in the Coachella Valley and I feel important and very well received here.

Q: If you could do anything in the world, what would it be?
A:
I would love to be able to travel the world if I could and do what I do to share everywhere, not just in one place; I am presently doing what I love, just wishing we could do it more often.

Q: What are you working on?
A:
Working on event planning & screenings and also approaching filming our TV series by 2019. *Website Link: http://www.facebook.com/thefilmmakersgallery
