Big Boy Choppers Jump for Joy with Lenny Meyers

Lenny Meyer photographed by Eyoalha Baker for Jump for Joy Photo Project and Palm Springs Cultural Center Artist Residency

Introducing…. Lenny Meyer!

This photo shoot was so fun!

My photo assistant Joe and I made a little road trip out to see Lenny at his beautiful home in Desert Hot Springs, Palm Springs.

We were amazed to find that Lenny and his friends had taken the time to perfectly arrange the most beautiful choppers inside his garage for the photo shoot. The lighting was challenging for me and I don’t usually do jump pics inside, BUT I was able to get this great shot of Lenny and just had to share it!

We also ended up taking one of these stunning machines outside and caught another amazing shot of Lenny catapulting into the air onto the bike (well at least we wanted it to look that way ;)). Look for that one on Instagram @jumpforjoyphotoproject.

Then one by one we did incredible jumps with the rest of the crew as well – I will be posting their features in the upcoming days. Everyone was so kind and helpful. I’m so happy Lenny invited his friends to share their jumping joy as well!

Read on to get to know Lenny a little more, so when you see him around you can say, hello 🙂
