This makes me think of a german song, and some of the lyrics go:
‘We let our wishes fly like kites, but without strings, so when we wanted to grab them later we grasped at nothing.’
I love the picture this conjures up, but it also reminds me to make sure that I don’t let my dreams go wild, otherwise I might lose them.
