“Simply be who you are, do what you do best, be where you are called by joy, and let life work its magic on your behalf.” – Alan Cohen
“The ultimate goal of life is to be happy” ~ Og Mandino
“When you arise in the morning think of what a privilege it is to be alive, to think, to enjoy, to love …” ― Marcus Aurelius
“Happiness is an inner state of well being which enables you to profit from your highest: thoughts, wisdom, intelligence, common sense, emotions, health, and spiritual values in your life.” – Lionel Ketchian
“There is no exact pattern for living life to the fullest. It is a balance. A deep and rich life consists of an array of different balances we must make. We learn the art of finding peace and tapping the creative mind, but also we also courageously move forward into our fears causing the anxiety of moving into something new. We learn to live in the present, but also make goals for the future and learn lessons of wisdom from our past. We live to give of ourselves to others but also to embrace our own individualism while doing so. Mindfully, we adjust and tamper with the balance of the many areas of our lives in this complex and exciting world we live in. It takes effort to stay in balance but it will increasingly take more effort to live a life completely out of balance and in chaos.” — Troy
“The most challenging situations can inspire us to take the greatest action and lead us to our greatest joy.” – @bestcoach4u
”Most of my photos are grounded in people, I look for the unguarded moment, the essential soul peeking out, experience etched on a person´s face.” - Steve McCurry
“There is no map, no guarantee of success. If there was, the map would have been photocopied (or reblogged on tumblr) by now. To move forward, to create what matters, we first need to get off the beaten path and into the unknown. It could fail, and that’s ok. Great creations have always required great risk. Experiment, because experiments don’t fail, they either prove or disprove a point.” – Paul Jarvis
“May your walls know joy; May every room hold laughter and every window open to great possibility.” ~ Maryanne Radmacher
“La créativité, c’est conserver tout au long de la vie une chose qui, à proprement parler, fait partie de l’expérience de la première enfance: la capacité de créer le monde.” — D.W. Winnicott
“Creativity, is maintained throughout life something that, strictly speaking, is part of the experience of early childhood: the ability to create the world.” – D.W. Winnicott (translated from original French version)
“The more you praise and celebrate your life, the more there is in life to celebrate.” – Oprah Winfrey
“A life’s work is not a series of stepping-stones onto which we calmly place our feet, but more like an ocean crossing where there is no path, only a heading, a direction, which, of itself, is in conversation with the elements. Looking back for a sense of reference, we see the wake we have left as only a brief, glimmering trace on the waters.” – David Whyte
“Let today be the day you love yourself enough to no longer just dream of a better life; let it be the day you act upon it.” ― Steve Maraboli
“When you ask a person to jump, his attention is mostly directed toward the act of jumping and the mask falls so that the real person appears.” – Philippe Halsman
“Every decision you make, every decision, is not a decision about what to do. It’s a decision about Who You Are. When you see this, when you understand it, everything changes. You begin to see life in a new way. All events, occurrences, and situations turn into opportunities to do what you came here to do.” ~ Neale Donald Walsch
“Do not suffer in the never-ending abyss of waiting til you have time or it’s the ‘Right Time’. Life is fleeting. Do it. Now. Especially if it’s fun. Especially if it’s crushingly difficult.” – Crash Gordon

On May 14, 2012 I began my Jumping Joy blogging adventure. Today I am celebrating one year of setting up jumping photo shoots and posting them here to share the jumping joy with the world.
What a pleasure it has been so far. Thank you from the depths of my heart for all your kind comments and support so far.
This collage of 12 jumping photos are a random selection from my first six months of blogging… Its really fun for me to see them all together like this. I have to say, it makes me feel rather sentimental going through them all. I had such a great time taking these photos and have met the most interesting and inspiring people along the way.
They all hold such beautiful memories for me. I still have hundreds more to take all around the world and am so excited for all the adventures to come. I can only imagine how hard it will be when it comes time to select the 1000 jumping photos for my book!
I have another collage from my last six months of bloging for the afternoon post so stop by again later.
Lets keep spreading the joy… keep on sharing my posts to your social media pages, blogs and magazines. I appreciate your help
I LOVE my project and hope you are enjoying it too!
Enjoy and have a wonderful day!

Spirit of Joy
“…
To live and rejoice
To love and make love
To dance and play,
To sing and paint
To walk and wander in simplicity this deep, in a ceaseless awe of life this intense and tender
To run wild with the dance of stillness and motion, of power and flow
(Beauty, beauty, everywhere I look, you I see!)
To dazzle oneself in oneself, over and over again, anew, as oneself as one’s own and only true self – enjoy and explore! (Travel oh travel, more and more, satisfied and thirsty, lacking no more)
Ah!, so many ways there are, to be this one that we are!
Ah!, the diversity of this unity – how sublime in its beauty it is!

Those waves of life’s desire, of life’s own joy and love for all…” – Sofia Norman
