This was a fun day in Kauai, Hawaii. I was driving past this beautiful tree and just had to stop to take a couple of jumping photos. I met Mahmoud as he was coming out of the water from surfing. I was jumping around in front of my camera and he jumped in. It turned into a spontaneous jumping shoot. After several shots I was on my way

I chose this self-portrait which I took in Kauai, Hawaii to start off the 2013 year because I loved the way I felt on this day… Full of life, love, joy, excited, creative, silly, free, and inspired in the warm sun, surrounded by beautiful nature. I hope to continue my year waking up everyday with this passion and inspiration for life as I continue to jump for joy around the world.
