I’ve discovered a way to reach the true joy and child-like playfulness within people by having them jump for joy in front of the lens!

This playful, child-like joy is why I’ve launched this project — Jump for Joy! Photo Project to capture the essence of joy around the world. By doing this simple project, I hope to be a part of a global shift in our collective focus from the negative to the positive. It can be so easy to get caught up in the stresses of life, with trade deficits, wars, disasters, injustices, difficult relationships, bills etc. We can sometimes tend to feel weighed down when continually being fed negative stories online and in the news at every turn. As an artist, my hope is to shift some of that focus and have some fun! Let’s remind ourselves to take ourselves a little less seriously, play, laugh and Jump for Joy!
